SUMMARY:

This is a classic prank and a perfect option for introducing kids to April Fools’ Day. Parents and teachers will love it. Young ones may also enjoy using it to prank adults or peers.

HOW TO DO IT:

• Get a few pieces of brown construction paper and cut out a bunch of pieces in the shape of the letter ‘E.’ If you don’t have construction paper, you can always use a brown marker to draw the letter E on several slips of paper.

• Place the paper Es into the pan you use to make brownies. Cover with foil.

• Ask your victim whether they would like some brownies. Answer should ALWAYS be “yes.”

• Allow them to peel back the foil to uncover the Brown Es.

TIPS:

We strongly recommend having a batch of brownies or other treats ready to offer so that the disappointment is only brief.
